Synopsis: To review cyber liability exposures, IT controls to help prevent claims from occurring, and insurance protection needed in the event of a cyber incident.

Learning Objectives: You will learn what insurance company underwriters look for when offering coverage to best position your company for favorable coverage terms and premium, along with state of current marketplace.

Risk Management Consultant with Marsh McLennan Agency, the middle market entity for Marsh Companies, the global leader in providing insurance, risk management, and financial services.

Over 33-year years, Peter has worked with mid-sized commercial companies to identify critical risk exposures and provide insurance solutions and risk management strategies to reduce and/or eliminate these exposures. Although industry agnostic, he has targeted certain industries such as Healthcare, Manufacturing and Distribution, and Professional Services.

He has also focused on specific coverage exposures, such as Cyber Liability, Management Protection Liability (Directors and Officers, Employment Practices, Fiduciary Liability), and Professional Liability.

Also, Robert is a past board member of both the Healthcare Association of New Jersey and the New Jersey Hotel and Lodging Association, as well as a broker liaison to the New Jersey State Bar Association.

He currently resides in central New Jersey and is married with seven children and two grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, biking, and warm beaches in our free time.

Peter has over 35 years of Information Technology experience working with Not-for-Profit, Legal, Real Estate, and Manufacturing organizations.

As a native New Yorker, Peter takes pride in solidifying and building a network of local partnerships. He has spoken multiple times over the year on cybersecurity and industry trade groups.

Peter currently sits on the New York City Board of the IAMCP (International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners), where he has served as President for over 3 years. He is a member of the Ingram SMB Alliance and Evolve Peer Group.

He has spoken on cyber security for the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Peter is a Gavriela Schuster D&I Award winner and has an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University and a B.S. in Marketing from Bentley University.

When Peter is not creating IT business solutions, Peter enjoys yoga, cooking, and attending Giants football games.
